Hi, I'm Emily!

As an ocean-obsessed conservation communicator, I started my career at an aquarium, surrounded by fish and sea stars, developing curriculum to educate students and guests. Here I discovered my greatest asset—the ability to leverage my enthusiasm for the natural world and win over the hearts and minds of an audience. This skill led me into communications, marketing, and public relations in environmental non-profits.

As a communicator, I craft stories that speak to the ethos of donors and partners to share the ground-breaking and transformative accomplishments of my colleagues. By leveraging strengths-based communications, I strive to tell authentic stories about climate solutions and people at the heart of successful conservation.

This is the highlight of my work and each day I hope to leave the world a little bit better than it started out; supporting and sharing incredible conservation success stories is my way of doing that.
